The Smiths are planning a project to remodel their living room because it is outdated. The living room will be stripped of all items, furniture, paint, baseboards and light fixtures. Along with clearing everything out of the room the walls will have to be stripped of their wallpaper. This room will have the walls sanded and painted. There will be new light fixtures and a ceiling fan installed in the center of the room. All the old furniture will be thrown out and it will be replaced with new furniture. The new furniture will include two lazy boy chair, one four person reclining sofa, two side tables and one center coffee table that will be placed in the center of the room.

Business Case

The purpose of this remodel is so that Mrs. Smith will stop worrying Mr. Smith to death about entering into the 21st century. Mrs. Smith feels that the energy is being sucked out of her by looking at all the old furniture and wallpaper every time she goes into her living room. She wants her living room to be a nice relaxing room in the house so that she can get away from all the everyday stress of life. Mr. Smith wants that for his wife.

Milestone Schedule

The project will start on April 14, 2014 and should be completed by May 29, 2014. This gives Mr. and Mrs. Smith five months to plan, deconstruct, gather materials and reassemble their living room.
